About Us

The Forum of Private Business is a proactive business support organisation focused on the growth and profitability of small businesses.

 

We were established by small business owners in 1977 as a lobbying and campaigns group – these activities remain central to what we do.

 

We decided to launch the Get Britain Trading campaign in 2011 amidst a backdrop of economical uncertainty and instability. We developed the campaign in line with what Forum members told us they needed and wanted in order to get trading again. Read the full research report here >
