National Minimum Wage

Agency Workers Regulations

The Agency Workers Regulations come into force with effect from 1 October 2011, giving agency workers entitlement to the same basic employment and working conditions as if they had been recruited directly, if and when they complete a qualifying period of 12 weeks in the same job.

They will also be entitled to access to facilities, such as canteens and childcare facilities, as well as information on your job vacancies from the first day of their assignment with you.
