The Forum of Private Business has made Edinburgh-based financial consultant Tony Law its Business Development Manager for Scotland. Mr Law, who has more than 22 years experience in providing services to small businesses, will work alongside the Forum's Scottish spokesperson, Jim Gorie, who has been with the organisation for several decades. Commenting on his appointment, Mr Law said: "I'm looking forward to meeting business owners around the country and finding out about the issues and challenges they currently face. "I'm also looking forward to highlighting the benefits of Forum membership to SMEs. Never before has there been more reason to join an organisation which is truly interested in supporting Scottish businesses." Scottish business owners can meet Mr Law and find out more about the Forum at a free breakfast networking event in Edinburgh next month.
The event will provide valuable business-to-business networking opportunities and also includes a free seminar on web design and search engine optimisation from industry experts Creare. It takes place at the George Hotel, George Street, on Tuesday, December 7, running from 8am to around 10am. A complimentary light breakfast will be provided.
