SFEDI develops National Occupational Standards particularly for small businesses. It is Government appointed and works with awarding bodies to design qualifications that meet the needs of small firms and those that support them.

 

The FPB is a participating member of the SFEDI Research Advisory Group and Lead Body that recommends the focus of research amongst small businesses to understand better their learning and development needs and provide the evidence to engender policies and provision that will meet these needs. We are currently assisting SFEDI in the development of Business Support Standards, and welcome any member comments on these proposals. These can be made on the SFEDI website by clicking here.
