What our members say

"The Forum's legal helpline gave us invaluable help on disciplining a member of staff. We thought our procedures were sufficient and our understanding of the current regulations were up to date, but it turns out they would have counted for nothing at a tribunal because we failed to use the correct terminology whilst holding performance reviews. After following their advice, should the worst happen and we were taken to tribunal, we would be safe in the knowledge that the Forum's legal expenses cover would pay for any bills and awards against us. As a small business, this kind of peace of mind is invaluable."

"It's a sign of the times, unfortunately, but I had to use the Forum because I had to make two people redundant. I needed information and guidance, and the Forum's legal people held my hand and helped me through the process. Though a very painful process for both me and the staff, they made sure it was done to the letter of the law and eased my worries. I don't think I could have done it without the Forum's help. My annual subscription is well worth the expenditure."
Forum member Michael Ivens, Bray and Co |
"We used Qdos and the service was second to none. As a small business, it was fantastic. Win or lose, it was a good service. Fortunately we won. It's nice to have the Forum at the end of the phone. It makes life a lot easier; forewarned is forearmed."
