We're so confident that membership of the Forum of Private Business represents excellent value for money that we offer a full money-back guarantee.

If we haven't saved you at least the equivalent value of your membership subscription when the time comes to renew it, we'll give you a full refund.

We hope you'll never feel the need to make a claim under the guarantee, but here's what you need to know about eligibility, and general terms and conditions.

Who is eligible to claim under the guarantee?

The guarantee is open to all members, as long as:

the member has sought quotes for at least three of our products and services over the last 12 months (if not already signed up to at least three of our products and services).
the member must engage in our account management process, through which we regularly communicate with members via email and telephone.

Note: The guarantee will be made available to new members signing up after mid-March 2010. For existing members, the guarantee will be available to members renewing after 1 April 2010 onwards (for claims made from April 2011 onwards).

How we calculate the value of membership

When we calculate the value of membership, we take into account the following:

The price the member would pay for our legal expenses insurance policy if purchased on the open market (if applicable to the membership package).
Calls made by the member to our general business and legal helplines for advice, information or guidance.
Savings made possible through use of our products and services. We will also consider potential savings, as demonstrated by quotes from our product partners, regardless of whether the member chooses to sign up to said product or service.

We may also take into consideration support provided by the Forum of Private Business to help the member with a particular issue, for example, negotiations with banks, local authorities and so on.

Note: the guarantee is only available to businesses at the end of their 12-month membership period with the Forum of Private Business and all subscriptions must have been paid in full.
