References template

Ideally, references should be obtained prior to the commencement of work. Not to do so, or indeed not to take up references at all, may well lead to problems later on, particularly if the references prove unsatisfactory.

It is essential for some types of work that references are obtained prior to any job applicant commencing work. This is particularly the case in, though is not confined to, the care industry.
