Health and safety law poster

The law poster costs £7.66-£12.26 and can be purchased online here or from Health and Safety Books on 01787 881 165.

Employers have a legal duty to display the health and safety law poster in a prominent position in each workplace or provide each worker with a copy of the equivalent leaflet outlining health and safety laws.

There is a new poster from 5 April 2014 that update their predecessors (both originally published in 1999).

Accident book

Although it isn't a legal requirement to have an accident book, you are legally obliged to record any incidents and to inform the HSE of any injuries. Read more about your obligations to report accidents in the workplace here.

The HSE's accident book costs £5.70 and can be purchased online here or from Health and Safety Books on 01787 881 165. Alternatively, you can create your own accident book or use an online service.
