Today we have received information from the Freight Transport Association The Department for Transport (DfT) has announced that it is going ahead with changes to operator licensing and an MOT exemption for alternatively-fuelled vans; this follows consultations in 2014 and 2017. The response confirms that the Department will proceed with removing the exemptions from operator licensing and testing as follows.
