Health & Safety Guide 2009
Guiding you through the compliance process
A successful business is dependent on the health and welfare of its employees and customers. As a business owner, you are responsible for ensuring a safe working environment and minimising risk created by the operation of the business. Our Health & Safety Guide is designed to help you do this with the minimum of fuss.
Easy-to-follow sections cover general and sector-specific guidance on complying with health and safety regulations and the 'comply-as-you-complete' format ensures the business owner can stay fully up to date with the law simply and easily.
The Guide comes with a selection of customisable templates, including risk assessment forms covering general, fire and asbestos issues, to help you evaluate current risks in your own business. It also includes contact details for the key health and safety related organisations.
Always up to date
We update the Health & Safety Guide at least once every year to reflect changes to legislation so you can ensure that your business stays compliant.
The Guide is now also available in electronic format via this website, allowing you to 'complete and comply' by answering questions online. You can save your progress as you go along and even email pdfs of completed checklists to your inbox, giving you a date-stamped record of completion.
Members who subscribe to the hard copy of the Guide automatically receive access to the online version. Non-members can subscribe to the online version only.
